Our services generally consist of an initial free meeting usually at your property, which can last up to an hour, at which we will give you some general advice and shed some light on what may seem to be a daunting prospect of getting your house or extension built. You may decide on one of our standard plans unaltered or, you may require changes to be made. Often this can all be done at the first meeting.
Once you have decided on the final layout, working drawings have to be prepared, these generally serve three purposes:
For the Planning application.
For the Building Warrant application.
For the contractors to use when preparing their pricing quotations.
On reaching the stage where you have agreed the final sketch plans, we prepare the working drawings, and submit the planning and building warrant applications to the council after you have supplied us with the councils set planning and warrant fees. We will supply you with copies of the plans so you can obtain prices for the house yourself or we can forward the plans to our local contractor contacts. We recommend that clients use a local NHBC registered builder.
